Short: Icon.gio for PhotoGenics Author: christon@powertech.no Uploader: christon powertech no Type: gfx/show Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is an Icon.gio for PhotoGenics. Presently, it only loads icons, it doesn't save them. Be advised, this is a quick hack, and the speed is not optimal. The Icon.gio needs for you to have the Workbench screen open, so it can read the palettte and load it into PhotoGenics. This is because icons are not stored with any palette information. If the icon has only one image, the new picture will be the width of the icon. If it however has two, both will be loaded and the "selected" image placed to the right of the normal image. In a future version that will probably come sometime in June when I have finished all my exams, you will probably also be able to select an alternative palette (via. filerequester or paletterequester), select if one or both of the images in a two image icon is to be loaded, save icons etc. Right now, though, I just don't have the time to do all this. The Icon.gio was made on request from Torge!r Holm. I don't own a copy of PhotoGenics, so he was kind enough to supply me with the developer information. All testing was done on his machine, an Amiga 4000/030, because I can't test what I don't have, now can I? :) Anyway, if you decide to use the Icon.gio, you have to do one of three things. You can either donate a copy of PhotoGenics to me (from what Torge!r has shown me on his machine, it looks pretty awesome), you can send me a postcard telling me you are using the Icon.gio, or you can simple EMail me and tell me you are using it. All suggestions and bug-reports are welcome. Christopher Naas or christon@powertech.no Solveien 3a 1533 Moss Norway
